I’ve always had an affinity for expensive shit, yet, it’s often the cheaper items that are far superior. For example, a $100 Camel Pack, or a $3 Canteen… which would you choose? Well, if you asked me a year ago, I would have said the camel pack. However, real world experience kicked in, and I decided to go with a cheaper canteen, and a canteen stove. Of course I keep a camel pack in my bug out bag, so if I’m stationed somewhere for a while I have a sack to fill with water, but I am now using the canteens for my primary bug out water source.
